INTRODUCING IN-CAB SCANNING
The time has now arrived
Mason and Dixon Lines is pleased to announce that we now offer the "in-cab scanning" option for TripPak scanning. As a contractor looking to settle your trip faster, this option will allow you to scan your settlement documents, logs, receipts, and other paperwork directly from your truck or home. For the same per transaction fee as truck stop scanning, you will be able to save time, reduce out of route miles, shorten your pay cycle, and simplify your life by not having to locate a truck stop to send us your paperwork.
All you need is a few items to get started.
Let's run down the list of required items.
- You will need your TripPak envelope or you can print a TripPak cover sheet with all the same information by clicking here. (Note: Do not use copies of the printed form. Original first print forms only.) Please complete your form or envelope as you normally would prior to scanning. This form can also be printed by going to www.madl.com and clicking on the Contractors tab and then clicking "Downloads" or click the link on the left side of this page.
- You will need a computer of some type; whether a laptop, netbook, or computer you use at home, it just needs to run on Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7. These items are available to purchase from U-SAV vendors by clicking the links below.
- You will need a TWAIN compliant scanner. Virtually all produced in the past several years are, but call your scanner manufacturer to verify if you are not sure.
- Internet connection
- About 10 minutes to set up your connection
That's just about it.
